Spying the movement, Pepper's eyes dart to the branch, Cooper's face and then back to the dinosaur as it takes a few plucky little steps from the foliage. For a moment, she thinks they might actually come out this unharmed fairly easily—It's a big branch, and if Cooper can hit it in the head, it might at least knock it out. Nothing about this experience can be that simple, though, and Pepper's breath catches as a second and then third curious snout peek out from behind their new friend.
